Johnston Canyon

For the purist, calling this a hike is a sin.

Nevertheless, it is a great place to visit and a popular one.

It is a short walk on a slow upward trail that takes you to two different falls on a well maintained path through a canyon. If you make it to Upper Fall, it is 2.5 km long one-way.

As mentioned, it is very popular, meaning it is busy. We recommend doing in early morning or end of afternoon.

Roam Transit has a bus stop at Johnston Canyon.

Be careful, stay on the trail and don't get close to the water. Unfortunately, a few accidents happen every year at this site as people get off the trail intentionally.
